Meet Pianist Inon Barnatan: A Modern Master
Recognized as one of today’s most versatile and expressive pianists, Inon Barnatan is celebrated for his profound interpretations and magnetic stage presence. Hailed by The New York Times as “one of the most admired pianists of his generation,” Barnatan has performed with leading orchestras worldwide, including the New York Philharmonic and the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
His remarkable ability to connect deeply with audiences, combined with his technical brilliance, makes every performance a moving experience. Whether performing solo, in chamber ensembles, or alongside orchestras, Barnatan’s artistry resonates with both classical aficionados and newcomers alike.
Alan Gilbert, Music Director of the New York Philharmonic, describes Barnatan as “A complete artist: a wonderful pianist, a probing intellect, passionately committed, and a capable contemporary-music pianist as well.”
New Century Music Director and Concertmaster Daniel Hope remarks that Barnatan is “...a fantastic pianist, musician, and somebody that lives and breathes music” who has “...the capability to reach deep into the music itself.”
Inon Barnatan will perform the Piano Concerto No. 3 in D minor by C.P.E. Bach and the Piano Concerto No. 1 in C minor by Dmitri Shostakovich with New Century Chamber Orchestra. Learn more about Barnatan on his website, and follow him on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
